  1. This is great. I noticed that my school has this as part of their complete works of Tezuka, but I don't know enough Japanese yet to understand it in the original.

  2. Thanks for dropping by. I really like Don Dracula. He's like an elegant cross between Archie Bunker and Homer Simpson, in that he's an anti-hero that makes his own problems, but he also has super powers that he can abuse to make the problems worse. I just wish that there were more than 3 book's worth. Not all of the stories work, and often the humor is dated, but that just helps illustrate the history and culture of the time.

    I suggest that you try reading the other stories yourself, because they are a great introduction to the language. Buy a copy of NJStar, and type up the dialog with it. NJStar is good both for it's radical-based kanji look-up function, and for it's pop-up dictionary.
